Cherokee hits 18

US-based Cherokee Inc. has climbed to number 18 on Forbes’ 2007 list of 200 Best Small Companies. This is the fourth consecutive year that the company has been ranked on the list. It also ranked second in the five-year average Return on Equity (ROE) segment, with a measurement of 120% over this time period.

In addition, the company ranked fifth in the 12-month sales growth segment, although this includes $33 million non-recurring revenues from the sale of its Mossimo Finders Agreement last October.

Cherokee markets, licenses and manages a variety of footwear, apparel and accessories brands including Sideout and Carole Little.
