Footwear company Wolverine World Wide has appointed Stephen Gulis as president, Global Operations Group, with effect from 2008. He will also continue his roles as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Mr Gulis replaces Arthur Croci, who is retiring.

James Zwiers has been promoted to senior vice president of the company, effective January 1. He will be responsible for the company's retail, legal, new business development and strategic planning operations.

Scott Sible has been appointed president, Outdoor Group, which consists of the Merrell and Patagonia brands. Meanwhile, Nicholas Ottenwess has been appointed senior vice president, operations of the Outdoor Group.
