Days for MICAM changed

The days for MICAM ShoEvent in Milan have been changed so that the fair will now take place during the week. Instead of running from September 17-20, 2008, the event will now take place from September 26-29, 2008.

ANCI chairman, Vito Artioli, explained that footwear buyers “have shown in recent editions that they prefer to visit the trade fair on weekdays.”

He said that he hoped the new dates would suit all visitors, and particularly the growing number coming from overseas.

The September event this year attracted 46,313 visitors. International visitor numbers were up 5.1% to 22,623 visitors compared with the prior-year fair.
