Shiny new shoes for LA’s poorest children
Many children received a brand new pair of new Foot Locker athletic shoes on October 8 as part of the Fred Jordan Mission's 19th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway in Los Angeles. The Fred Jordan Mission offers food and assistance to impoverished individuals and families 365 days a year.
Along with clothing, school supplies and toiletries, 4,000 of the poorest children in the area were given custom-fitted Foot Locker shoes and socks.
The company operates approximately 4,000 athletic footwear, apparel and accessories stores across 20 countries in North America, Europe and Australia.
