Fake Vans seized

Reports indicate that counterfeit Vans footwear worth P1.5 million ($33,520) has been confiscated in Pasay City in the Philippines, by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Three stockrooms and a store belonging to Shoelink Trading were raided and more than 800 pairs of rubber shoes bearing fake Vans logos were seized. The company now faces legal action for infringements of the country’s Intellectual Property Code.
