Having recently signed four distribution deals across Europe, UK-based outdoor footwear manufacturer Hi-Tec has signed a new ten-year agreement with Chogori India. A number of Chogori India’s stores in the province of Rajasthan will be used to sell the branded goods, including several in the state capital, Jaipur, from October 1.
It is hoped that at least 100,000 pairs will be sold in India in the 2007/08 period, and that this figure will have doubled by 2009. Sales from the Rajasthan region are expected to account for 8% of countrywide sales.
Hi-Tec will be available at 25 outlets across India, and many stores will sell both footwear and sportswear. Chogori India will also market and distribute the brands in Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
