Reigning Wimbledon winner Venus Williams has launched a new line of performance sportswear and footwear in collaboration with New York-based casual apparel clothing retailer Steve & Barry's.

This new 120-piece collection, called ‘EleVen’, will be available from November and includes nine models of athletic footwear. Ms Williams debuted some items from the collection at the recent US Open, held in New York from August 27 to September 9.

She gained knowledge about performance gear through practising her sport as well as having studied fashion design at the Art Institute of Florida.
