As part of its stated mission to "democratise fashion and design in footwear", Payless ShoeSource has unveiled three new designer collections today at the New York Fashion Week.

The guest designers it has worked with are Laura Poretzky, Lela Rose and Stacey Bendet.
 
The average price of the shoes, which are part of collections for spring 2008, is under $30 a pair.
