Elche chief calls for autumn optimism

The secretary of the Footwear Industry Association of Elche, Pedro Méndez, has encouraged manufacturers to be optimistic as they face the autumn fair season.
He said: "This is always a month of hard work, but also a month of hope. We always go to events such as GDS, Micam and Modacalzado hopeful of receiving a high volume of orders, but this year I truly think we can be optimistic."
