Two senior appointments at Timberland
Footwear manufacturer Timberland has made two senior appointments.
Carden Welsh, who served as the company's treasurer from 1991 until 1998 and as its senior vice-president for international (non-US) business from 1998 until 2003, now returns as senior vice president and chief administrative officer.
The company has also named John Crimmins as chief financial officer. Mr Crimmins has served as acting chief financial officer since March 29, having been with Timberland since 2002.
“We conducted an extensive search of internal and external candidates for both positions, and were pleased to find that the most qualified candidates were already part of the Timberland family,” said chief executive, Jeffrey Swartz.
