Brantano issues half-year results

Belgium-based footwear retail group Brantano has announced turnover for the first half of this year of €152.2 million. This represents an increase of 8.5% on last year's corresponding figure.
Profit on this total is €1.8 million, a much lower figure than last year's. On issuing the results, however, the company pointed out that last year's profit figures included a one-off boost to results from a series of property deals.
