The footwear industry is one of the contributors to manufacturing success in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s industrial hub.
In the first eight months of this year, the city’s manufacturing output had a value of $13.4 billion, according to local authorities, a 12.5% increase on last year.
Footwear producers are among the biggest firms in the city.
