Fire destroys footwear factory

A fire in the Chilean capital,
Firefighters were called to the scene last night and, although no one was injured, they were unable to save any of the stock or machinery on site.
Factory owner, Pedro Cortés, said the cost of the damage would run to millions of dollars and he revealed that his business was not fully insured.
