Footwear chief joins board of luxury holiday firm

The chief executive of specialist closed-cell resin footwear brand Crocs, Ronald Snyder, has joined the board of an interesting firm called Solstice.

The company plays in the ultra-luxury segment of a $2 billion industry. Its customers are affluent consumers who spend holiday time, rather than in a second home of their own, in one of Solstice’s “architecturally significant” properties, enjoying a high level of personalised service.

Chairman, Tim Wolff, said he felt confident Mr Snyder’s experience of building an international brand would be of great benefit to Solstice.
