The British Footwear Association (BFA), a trade body representing the interests of the British footwear industry, has announced that it is to endorse and support the Off-Price Show London, a fashion trade exhibition specialising in instant stocks of fashion clothing, footwear and accessories, held twice a year in Olympia, London.

Commenting on the decision to back the event Niall Campbell chief executive of the BFA said, “Exhibitions are a vital form of marketing for the footwear industry, and we have noticed the growing importance of the Off-Price Show in offering footwear companies access to new buyers from both domestic and overseas markets. We are pleased now to formally endorse and support the exhibition and believe it will be useful to our members as they look to expand their customer bases into new markets.”

Buzz Carter, event director of the Off-Price Show, added, “We have been showing an increasing amount of footwear at the last four editions of the Off-Price Show, the leading fashion stock trading event, together with a surge in demand from buyers looking for quality UK footwear suppliers. We are delighted to be working closely with the British Footwear Association and we will be developing a special footwear section of the show, together with dedicated marketing to identify new and interesting buyers from across Europe.”
