Berlin-based cellist Trey Lee has revealed that finding the right sort of footwear for his performances is proving difficult. Mr Lee, whose third album is in the works, told the Financial Times recently that he needs to wear shoes with rubber soles while on stage.

He said: “Leather soles make too much noise. The pair I wear at the moment is from Pollini and I previously had a similar pair from Bruno Magli, but, generally, they are hard to find.”
