US-based international charity Soles4Souls is partnering with World Vision to provide thousands of summer shoes to homeless families in shelters in the USA’s lowest income Congressional district, the South Bronx.

Through the partnership Soles4Soul has donated 15,000 pairs of footwear which will be distributed to at least 500 children and their families, all of which are currently receiving assistance from the Citizens' Advice Bureau, SEBCO Development, Inc., and East Side Settlement House.

Commenting on the event executive director of domestic programmes for World Vision, Rahsaan Graham, said, "World Vision is very pleased to partner with Soles4Souls in the South Bronx, to help so many young people enjoy their summer just a bit more."
