A newly-created show, the Leather, Bags and Accessories Fair, will be held alongside the Australian Shoe Fair (ASF) in Melbourne on August 12-14.

Created to meet the demands of the growing Australian shoe industry, ASF attracted a high number of brands and visitors when it was held for the first time last year and organisers have now decided to launch the new bag, leathergoods and accessories show in order to offer a wider range of goods and to attract more buyers.

The August fair, which will be over 40% larger than last year’s event, is expected to attract over 3,000 visitors and will showcase collections from Australasian as well as some European brands.
