Lanxess’ TRP unit regroups

The Technical Rubber Products (TRP) business unit of German chemical company Lanxess has been restructured, with the changes effective July 1. The business unit will be divided globally into business lines according to products with each line taking on responsibility for issues such as pricing and resource allocation.

The EPDM business line will be headed by Robert Gnann, who is also managing director of Lanxess Buna GmbH (Marl, Germany), while the NBR/E-SBR business line (emulsion rubber TRP) will be managed by Uwe Westeppe, site manager and director general of Lanxess Emulsion Rubber (La Wantzenau, France). The CR business Line (polychloroprene) will be led by Gerd Deimel, who is currently head of Marketing Europe/LATAM and the Specialties business line (HNBR, EVM and future new products) will be headed by Stephen Pask, who is currently head of APD.

The Marketing & Business Services department—headed by Jürgen Gunther—will co-ordinate sales for all the business lines.
