Focus on foot anatomy at Healthy Feet Exhibit
The anatomy of the foot and how it functions, common foot types, familiar and rare foot disorders and the effects that health conditions can have on the feet are just some of the topics covered at The Healthy Feet Exhibit which is being held at the
Commenting on the event, former president of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists, Susan Weltz, said, “Many people are unaware that the first signs and symptoms of serious medical conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, nerve and circulatory disorders often appear in the feet.”
Ms Weltz is part of the team providing information and artefacts for the exhibit, which is designed to increase public awareness of how proper foot care can help to maintain healthy feet.
