According to data released by the Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau, the country’s footwear exports increased a staggering 32.31% during the period July 2006 to March 2007 to reach $99.52 million from $75.22 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Bangladesh’s total exports stood at $ 9.036 billion for the period.
