As of June 15, German chemicals producer Lanxess will increase the prices
for its rubber chemicals by between €100 and €220/ $150 and $300 per metric ton. The increases will be applied globally.

According to the company, the price increases were necessary due to the continued high cost of the raw materials and rising energy prices.
