Global footwear component supplier Texon International has relocated its head office to Hong Kong and has appointed Tom Spedding as the group’s new chief executive officer. Commenting on the changes at the company, outgoing CEO Stephen Bracegirdle said, "This closes a 108-year association with Leicester (UK), and with Tom's appointment positions the group for further growth closer to our major customers."

Texon manufactures cellulose (paperboard), nonwoven (synthetic fibre) and metallic footwear products.
