Brand management company NexCen Brands, Inc. has appointed Brenda Palmer as vice president of Licensing and Brand Development.

Prior to joining the company she held a variety of positions in the premium consumer goods industry, having started her career as a buyer, director of design and production and merchandise manager. With over thirty years experience, Ms Palmer has worked with the Greg Norman Collection division of Reebok International, Nautica Apparel, Liz Claiborne Accessories, and Polo Ralph Lauren.

NexCen owns, licenses, franchises and markets a portfolio of consumer brands including The Athlete's Foot and Bill Blass footwear.
