Canadian outdoor apparel, footwear and accessories retailer West 49 Inc. has posted a 31% sales increase for its first quarter ended April 28. Sales for the quarter totalled $46.5 million compared with $35.5 million for the first quarter of last year. Comparable store sales increased 2.9%.
