First Nike Runner's Lounge opens in Toronto

Canadian Olympic hurdler Perdita Felicien attended the opening of the first Nike Runner's Lounge in Toronto, Canadaa free training resource for runners. The lounge is the first to open in Toronto and features services such as training tips, massages, footwear trials and running routes.

The facility allows runners to use the Nike+ technology to track their training on an iPod Nano through a sensor installed in their shoes. Nike+ runners can programme their runs and download the results at Nikeplus.com to track progress, set personal goals and challenge friends.
