Crocs continues to break records
US designer, manufacturer and retailer of footwear Crocs has posted record financial results for the quarter ended March 31.
Revenues increased 217% to $142 million compared with $44.8 million for the equivalent quarter in 2006. Net income reached $24.9 million from $6.4 million, and gross profit was $84.5 million, or 59.5% of revenues, compared with $23.7 million, or 52.9% of revenues in the same prior-year period.
Ron Snyder, president and CEO attributed the strong performance to increasing demand worldwide for its entire product range.
