US retailer of comfort footwear The Walking Company is further expanding its retail presence with the opening of a new store in Hoover, Alabama.

The new 1,200 square-foot location will feature the latest styles and designs from more than 40 comfort footwear brands including ECCO, Mephisto, Dansko, Pikolinos and Beautifeel, including dress shoes, sandals, clogs, boots and active footwear.

As with its other recently opened stores, the new outlet will also feature a Lynco orthotic system and digital foot scanning technology, to scan customers’ feet to identify their foot type and pressure points, and determine an appropriate Lynco orthotic.
