The WSA Show offers a glimpse of summer

The WSA Show will offer buyers their first glimpse of the new spring/summer 2008 footwear and accessories collections in Las Vegas from July 30 to August 1. Now concentrated into three days and located under one roof for the first time, the show is said to be the only event where exhibitors showcase their entire product ranges and lines.

Some 1,600 exhibitors will present over 6,000 brands at the show which will also include several fashion events and educational seminars which will provide insights into critical fashion and consumer trends, along with presentations on retail and marketing. Nathalie Fausty from Promostyl will present the forthcoming fashion moods and emerging lifestyles that influence footwear trends, as part of the Style, Design and Footwear Directions for Summer ’08 seminar, Kathleen Gasparini from Label Networks will discuss Global Youth Cultural Street Fashion & Footwear Trends, and how to understand the $165 billion market, whilst Marshal Cohen, chief industry analyst for the NPD Group will provide an insight into today’s consumer.
