American comfort footwear firm The Walking Company is to open a new store in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

The new outlet will feature styles from more than 40 premium comfort footwear brands such as ECCO, Mephisto, Dansko, Pikolinos and Beautifeel. It will offer a varied selection including dress shoes, sandals, clogs, boots and active footwear.

The new store will also feature the Lynco orthotic system and digital foot scanning technology. Customers who come into the store can have their feet scanned to identify their foot type and pressure points, and determine the appropriate orthotic for their feet.
