Footmaxx revenues up 6.3%

Canadian orthopaedic and diagnostic company Footmaxx Holdings Inc. has posted a 6.3% increase in revenues for 2006, which was achieved through expanding product lines and introducing new products as well as growing the existing orthotic business. As a result, revenue in 2006 reached $13.4 million, an increase of $795,813, or 6.3%, compared with the $12.6 million reported in 2005. Excluding the negative impact of the weak US dollar, revenues would have increased $1,268,909, or 10.1%.

Footmaxx orthotics are used in the treatment and prevention of many foot and related problems that can affect the ankle, knee, hip and lower back. They can also be used in treating foot conditions such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, medical conditions such as arthritis and diabetes and for correcting poor biomechanics and gait alignment. It also offers a line of Sportmaxx Orthotics specifically designed for professional athletes.
