Adriano Zuccala is to replace Ambrogio Merlo as CEO of Italian technical outdoor footwear sole company Vibram. Mr Zuccala has spent 20 years at Pirelli where he held various positions. He became CEO of Avanex Italy in 2003.

Vibram, whose products are mainly designed for outdoor activities and extreme sports, produces some 40 million soles each year.
