Positive Q4 results from West 49

Canadian apparel, footwear and accessories retailer West 49 Inc. has reported higher sales for its fourth quarter and full year, ended January 27.
Net sales increased 22.1% to C$61.9 million ($54.9 million) from C$50.7 million for the prior year quarter. Net income rose to C$2.9 million compared with C$2.7 million, which included a non-recurring, non-cash charge of C$0.5 million.
Net sales for the year grew 44.6% to C$195.3 million compared with $135.1 million in the previous year, whilst annual net income of reached C$4.1 million, up from C$2.7 million in 2006.
