New board member elected at Brown Shoe

President and chief operating officer of American Brown Shoe Company, Inc. Diane Sullivan has been nominated for the company's board of directors, to be voted upon at the upcoming Annual Meeting of Shareholders on May 24.
Ms Sullivan joined the company in 2003 as president, and was named chief operating officer in 2005. She joined the company from Phillips-Van Heusen where she was vice chairman of the Footwear Group and prior to this worked as president and chief operating officer for Stride Rite Corporation.
She is a member of the board of directors for
Brown Shoe’s brands include Naturalizer, LifeStride, Via Spiga, Nickels Soft, Connie and Buster Brown.
