Zumiez sales increase over 50%

US-based specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories Zumiez Inc. has posted total net sales of $28.3 million for the five-week period ended April 7, 53.7% higher than the $18.4 million reported for the five-week period ended April 1, 2006. Comparable store sales increased 17% versus a 14.3% increase in the same period a year ago.
