Women's apparel, footwear and accessories company Coldwater Creek has promoted Daniel Griesemer to the position of president & chief operating officer.

Mr Griesemer has worked in the retail apparel industry for 24 years and joined Coldwater Creek in 2001 as senior vice president of Retail. In 2004, he was named executive vice president of Retail and the following year was promoted to executive vice president of Sales and Marketing.
