The main theme of the conference will be ‘The world from today, the vision for tomorrow’ and will cover a variety of issues including global production, the economic and political context, the development of secure technology (tracking, tracing and communicating objects), research (the customised shoe and the environmentally-friendly final product), and the question of world market access with a specific perspective from emerging markets (in respect of IP rights, their role in trade, security and climate changes).

Participants from China, Vietnam, Brazil, USA (NAFTA), EU, India and Japan are expected to attend.
