US fashion footwear company New York Transit, Inc. has sold footwear designer, developer and distributor Rocket Dog to private equity firms Golden Gate Capital and Circle Peak Capital. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, although the new owners affirmed that the existing management team of Rocket Dog would remain at the company
