Richard Volpe, most recently associated with the White Mountain Footwear Co., based in Dedham, MA, USA, passed away on February 20, aged 57.

Having begun his industry career with the Morse Shoe Co., he went on to become general merchandise manager. He later joined J. Baker as senior vice president and director of International Operations, working extensively in China.
