Farroupilha footwear given identification seal

In an attempt to further strengthen the Farroupilha footwear manufacturing cluster in Brazil, the local Footwear Industry Association has launched a new identification seal, Pólofar, in partnership with the National Small Business Support Service. The aim of the seal is to distinguish between regional, national and international products and it will be used on packaging, business cards and stationery.

The Farroupilha cluster, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, comprises 40 factories of which 10% are medium-sized and large businesses and 90% are small companies.
