Danish shoemaker ECCO is to sponsor LPGA Tour star Carin Koch. Under the agreement, two-time winner and four-time member of the European Solheim Cup team, Ms Koch, will wear the company’s golf shoes in future competitions.

Ms Koch has recorded 49 top-ten finishes on the LPGA Tour over the past eleven years.

ECCO’s golf shoes combine ultra-soft, high-grade leathers with hydrophobic treatments for added water-resistance; a direct-injection process that offers durability, comfort and shock-absorption; an internal stabiliser which reduces torque and creates a stable swing platform; a double-layer insole that provides extra cushion and absorbs heel force to reduce stress on the knees, hip and back; an internal Air-Circulation System that helps to maintain a fresh, dry and cool foot environment; a Dynamic Energy Return System which produces a trampoline effect during foot-strike and follow-through; and Advanced grip systems including Eclipse cleats with the Fast Twist insert system, Stinger cleats with the Q-Lok insert system and moulded traction bars.
