20/02/2007
Although German sportswear brand Puma AG has reported improved sales for 2006, the company’s footwear segment failed to improve over 2005, posting a 1.6% decrease in sales.
The outlook for 2007 is, however, more positive as at the 2006 year-end currency adjusted orders for footwear increased 6.1% to €716.8 million.
Worldwide total brand sales climbed 16% to reach €2.8 billion in 2006, whilst consolidated sales surpassed the €2 billion mark for the first time.
