Wolverine wins Plus Award for eighth time

05/02/2007

For the eighth consecutive year, US footwear company Wolverine has been awarded the Plus Award for excellent design in the work footwear category at the World Shoe Association (WSA) Show in Las Vegas. The award was presented for Wolverine’s CarbonMax toe cap, which was launched in 2006, and will be available at retail this spring.

The heat and cold resistant non-conductive safety toe cap is comprised of a carbon fibre that is said to be 50% lighter than traditional steel toe caps.
