390 exhibitors are participating at the fair—up from 325 last year—and 62 Indian leather sector exporters will receive ‘Export Awards’ for the 2005-06 period. Compared with IILF 2006, the event has 25% more exhibition space and is hosting 20% more participants. Approximately 10,000 trade visitors are expected to visit the event—including 39 buyers from eleven countries who have been invited by the India Trade Promotion Organisation and the Council for Leather Exports (CLE).
