New Main Group Corporation established

Italy-based injection machinery for the footwear industry company Main Group SpA is to join forces with Venetian company, Electromodul, which specialises in the production of plastic material moulding presses for the footwear sector.
The new venture, called VILOR, will involve setting up a global distribution system based on the new trading company and extending the product range.
Main Group holds 80% of the equity and its chairman Lorenzo Lorenzin will serve as chairman of the board of directors of the corporation. Two other companies will be involved in the initiative, the first will provide the specific machinery technology for recycled plastic materials and the second will drive the participation of several managers to provide additional professional and technical knowledge.
The Main Group was founded in 1988 following the merger of Lorenzin, Ottogalli and Union .
