Each member of the 18-strong Watoto children’s choir from Uganda, has each received new shoes from Start-rite for its UK tour.

The children were measured for their new shoes on December 21 by Start-rite’s fitting expert Charles Boyce who commented, “Start-rite was delighted to provide the Watoto children’s choir with shoes for their UK tour. The work of Watoto is admirable and the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by the children is remarkable. It was a pleasure to meet them and we wish them every success for their forthcoming performances.”

Since 1994, Watoto children’s choirs have toured internationally spreading a message of hope for Africa’s children, many of whom have lost one or both parents as a result of AIDS or war.
