Footwear company Skins Inc.that has developed a patent approved, interchangeable concept in shoeshas announced that it received a positive response to its spring 2007 collection at a debut event, held in New York. Launching for spring 2007, the company hopes to ‘revolutionise’ the footwear market with its concept that is said to be the world's first line of interchangeable footwear.

It has developed a two-part, interchangeable footwear structure consisting of outer collapsible ‘Skins’ and an inner orthopaedic support section called the ‘Bone’. The design allows consumers to purchase one inner section, (Bone), and numerous outer ‘Skins’, resulting in multiple style variations from the same pair of inners, to offer the same feel and fit no matter which outer is being worn.
