Pakistan replaces Export Promotion Bureau with Trade Development Authority

’s Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has been replaced with the newly created Trade Development Authority, administered by the Ministry of Commerce. The EPB’s role included organising leather shows in Pakistan, subsidising participants at international fairs and arranging trade visits.

The new authority will oversee the development and promotion of the country's exports, including helping to develop effective trade policies, regulations and trade development initiatives. It will take over all the responsibilities of the EPB.
