New general manager and location for Gravis

Burlington-based snowboarding, skateboarding, and surf footwear and bag company Gravis is relocating the product, sales and marketing functions of the company to Irvine, California, under the leadership of new general manager, Fabrice Le Det.

He said, “Southern California is the epicenter of the action sports industry and the natural location for Gravis.” He has twenty years of experience in both action sports and traditional sports, including recent ventures at Reef and Callaway Golf.

The move will be completed by early 2007.
