Melissa, a brand produced by Brazilian synthetic footwear manufacturer Grendene, has launched a new style designed by Egyptian designer Karim Rashid. The company’s Dynamic range includes a bold sports shoe style with sinuous lines along its whole length which is available in black and white.
  
Known as the 'prince of plastic', Mr Rashid lives in New York and his works can be found in clothing, architecture and electrical appliances as well as objects designed for luxury brands such as Prada and Armani.
